The Top Facebook Brands

Have you ever wondered about the top brands on Facebook? The ones with over millions and millions of likes? As well as millions of people “talking” about it? Some of the top brands include Facebook, YouTube, MacDonald’s, and even Red Bull! Red Bull has a whopping number of 44.9 million likes! That’s almost 45 million! Red Bull seems to post all the time, scrolling through their page it said they posted just about every hour. From 6 hours ago, to 7, 8, and so on. You may be thinking if they post so much, what do they have to say? What do they post? A majority of their posts include motivational stunts made by few people. These stunts go from Surfing, to skydiving, but it’s not just stunts that they post about but they also post about other activities such as hiking in the desert as well as hiking in very low temperatures. As often as they post they in fact use sentences and nothing else. Unfortunately they don’t use hashtags or any other types of words. There is a very interesting coincidence on Red Bulls Facebook page. With nearly 45 million likes you would suspect them to get thousands and thousands of likes on their posts. But they actually are very opposite. Some posts consist of a thousand, and some consist of forty three, or even in the hundreds. It seems that the really cool stunts have more likes which could be obvious. With all of the posts that they post not very many are motivational for a customer to go buy a Red Bull. Instead they are just showing how cool people can be when they try hard to do cool stunts. But they do have a couple cool advertisements. Some of them consist of someone or a group of people drinking Red Bull, getting pumped up and flying off to go do a really cool activity which gets more likes than usual.

Enough of Red Bull, curious on another Facebook brand? Another popular brand on  Facebook is Oreo, with 41.7 million likes. Oreo is one of my favorite cookies, they post not nearly as much as Red Bull. Instead they post every couple days, for example: February 3, to February 5. Their posts consist of small videos of people dunking Oreos in coffee, which is a little different since their main phrase is “Milks favorite cookie”. Their captions don’t have any hashtags just complete sentences about how much people love Oreos. They get a huge amount of likes, they get up to 10 thousand likes, which is a huge difference from Red Bull! The most best part of their posts are the people enjoying the Oreos, it engages me and makes me start to crave Oreos.

Brown Stone Apartments

Downtown has a tremendous amount of companies/sole proprietorship. My choice of business is called Brown Stone Apartments. This business was founded surprisingly back in 1872, but constructed the building in the years of 1908 – 1909. The orignial owner was Thomas Henderson Brown, his assistant architect’s name is Joseph Schwartz. Throughout the building process some of the main materials used included: Brown pressed brick, and quartzite foundation!

Thomas Brown operated an investment company out of apartment #3. He lead efforts to secure the small city’s first rail connection as well as directed the site selection committee for the state penitentiary.

Also one of the earlier downtown apartments, the Brown catered primarily to upscale residents. Can you believe that these rooms had their own servants room? They still include the servants room except they do not use them as servant rooms anymore, instead the most I’ve seen are now kitchen areas or even a dinning room area. Anyways the four units on each floor were built with the servant rooms, porches and even individual fireplaces! The apartments buildings first replaced one of the city’s earliest wood frame home, build on site for Mr. Brown in 1872.

These apartments are now owned by my dad. I have been all around these apartments and they are very exciting to look into seeing the history that they use to have. Everything is very cool in the apartments…. Other than the basements… We’ve had homeless people sleeping down there before…. Kind of creepy if you ask me.

To Be Or Not To Be, Organic and Paid Reach

My opinion weather or not to have a paid reach or organic reach made by yourself vary s in different opinions. To the extent of these opinions comes difficult decisions that takes time to figure out the correct solution. What are the differences between these decisions. First things first, the organic reach is original advertisement created by not anyone other than yourself. Organic reach can create many activities such as pride in your product as well as better understanding about how exact you are about advertising. Whereto Paid reach is very easy except the advertisers do not always know the best of understanding you want in your product. Most people see advertisements and ignore them, but there are others that don’t mind watching advertisements. Imaging making your ad fun to watch, do you suspect the paid organic to help promote the fun ad and get customers to eventually purchase your product? The answer I found is it could be so!

With house flipping I may need to have a paid reach to advertise my next to new house. I feel like I couldn’t refer to others trying to buy a house. I couldn’t jump on Facebook and post a status saying “hey anyone want to buy a house?”

Instead Facebook purchases information that other programmers scrap from the public. With the public scrapping that Facebook purchases comes new people with new interests. If I were to get the paid reach I could get the people looking for houses or even have Facebook present my house right on their screen with a hyperlink that brings them directly to my website or even the market with the house.

If I were to advertise it would most likely be paid advertisement because it would seem to work better by putting my ad out to certain people living/looking for housing the the area in which my house is built in, as well as the size of family or even friends. Another reason I would not do the organic reach is because I have a strong feeling of not attracting very many customers at all.

I will possibly start out with organic reach for the cost, but in my opinion if I do get the opportunity  I will definitely go out and get the paid research.

These blog were helpful for me because their titles expressed a unique way of explaining House Flipping before I could even read the paragraphs. I liked that one of the blog posts were written in bullet point form because it gave me a better way of understanding and taking me step by step through the blog. Other helpful activities on the blog site include pictures. Looking at those picture I can understand and conclude what to expect for the future.

It’s also helpful to hear about other options of construction I can get into other than construction such as real estate as well as wholesaling. This information I am retaining will be useful because it will help me build a plan for the future house flipping. I feel that these have good advice for the future and am very excited to get started!
